The Aerolase is an FDA-cleared medical laser with an unusual resume: it treats acne, scars, unwanted hair, pigment, and redness, comfortably, needle-free, and safely on every skin tone. The trick is its delivery, an ultra-short, high-powered pulse through a large spot with no skin contact, which heats the target while sparing everything around it. Sessions take minutes and need no numbing.

One pulse profile, many targets

Everything the Aerolase treats is, physically, the same job: heat a specific structure without harming its neighborhood. An overactive acne-causing gland, a hair follicle, a patch of excess pigment, a dilated blood vessel behind facial redness, each absorbs the laser's energy while the ultra-short pulse ends before heat can spread into surrounding skin.

No contact and no cooling gel touch the skin during treatment, which keeps sessions clean and quick. Most run only minutes, and clients return straight to their day.

Why every skin tone

The Aerolase's 1064 nm wavelength passes through the skin's surface pigment with minimal absorption, delivering its energy at the target rather than the complexion. That is what makes it safe for all skin tones, including deeper and tanned skin, territory where older laser platforms forced clinics to turn clients away.

The treatments it powers here

At Marie Jé Aesthetics the Aerolase is the workhorse behind three services: laser acne treatment, calming active breakouts and helping prevent permanent scarring; laser scar treatment, remodeling old acne and surgical scars; and laser quick hair removal, clearing unwanted hair in typically 3 to 6 sessions. One platform, one comfort profile, three jobs.

Common questions

Does it need numbing?

No. The no-contact delivery and ultra-short pulse keep treatments gentle enough that numbing is unnecessary, which is much of why sessions stay so quick.

Which services here use the Aerolase?

Laser acne treatment, laser scar treatment, and laser quick hair removal all run on the Aerolase platform.

Can it help with redness?

Redness and dilated vessels are among the targets the Aerolase treats. Whether it fits your specific concern is assessed at consultation.
