Sagging Skin & Loose Neck
Non-Surgical Lifting in Sunnyvale, California
Jowls settling along the jawline, loose skin on the neck, cheeks that sit lower than they used to. This is collagen loss showing its structural side, and no cream rebuilds structure. Our lifting treatments do: radiofrequency energy, biostimulant contouring, and collagen-building laser sessions that tighten from within, no surgery required.

What’s going on?
Skin stays firm because of a scaffolding of collagen and elastin beneath the surface. From our thirties onward that scaffolding thins a little every year, and gravity does the rest: the jawline softens into jowls, the neck loosens, and the cheeks and midface slowly drift downward. Clinically this is called skin laxity, and it is the same thing you notice in the mirror as sagging.
None of this is a surface problem, which is why no cream or facial can lift it. What can: treatments that reach the layers where structure actually lives and prompt your skin to rebuild its own collagen, from gentle laser sessions all the way to radiofrequency that works on the same foundation a surgical facelift repositions.

Rebuild the structure, not the surface
For neck-specific questions, read XERF for loose neck skin. If the jawline is the concern, our guide to XERF versus Radiesse for a softer jawline explains how to tell loose skin from missing structure.
XERF Lifting reaches deepest. Its multifrequency radiofrequency energy treats three layers at once: the dermis where collagen is produced, the support layer beneath it, and the SMAS, the structural foundation a surgical facelift repositions. The energy contracts existing collagen and prompts new collagen and elastin, so the jawline, cheeks, and neck gradually lift from the inside out. No needles, no numbing, no downtime.
Radiesse facial contouring works by addition. The calcium-based filler restores structure exactly where the face has lost it, along the cheeks, jawline, and chin, then keeps working by stimulating your own collagen around it, with results lasting up to 24 months.
The Tight and Bright laser facial is the gentlest of the three. Over 3 to 6 PicoWay sessions it stimulates collagen and elastin deep in the skin, firming and brightening with minimal downtime. It’s the right pace for early laxity, or for maintaining a lift the other treatments built.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is skin laxity the same as sagging skin?
They describe the same thing. Skin laxity is the clinical term for skin that has lost its firmness, whether that shows up as jowls along the jawline, looseness on the neck, or a midface that sits lower than it used to. Both come down to collagen and elastin thinning in the layers beneath the surface, which is exactly what these treatments rebuild.
How soon will I see a lift?
It depends on the treatment. Radiesse adds structure you can see immediately. XERF results build gradually over 2 to 6 months as your skin contracts existing collagen and produces new collagen and elastin. The Tight and Bright laser facial develops over its series of sessions.
Does XERF Lifting hurt?
Most clients compare it to a warm, relaxing massage. Integrated cooling protects the surface of your skin throughout the treatment, so there are no needles, no numbing, and no recovery time afterward.
Is XERF safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Because XERF uses radiofrequency energy rather than light, it is safe and effective for every skin tone.
How much downtime should I plan for?
XERF has none; most clients head straight back to their day. Radiesse typically involves 1 to 2 days of downtime, and the Tight and Bright laser facial's downtime is minimal.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
That is what the consultation is for. Marie assesses how much laxity you are carrying and where, then designs a personalized protocol around your skin, your goals, and your schedule rather than a one-size-fits-all plan.
