How fast does wrinkle treatment work?

Results appear within 2 to 7 days of treatment. The session itself takes 15 to 30 minutes with minimal downtime, so the treatment fits inside a lunch break; the waiting happens quietly at the nerve-muscle junction over the days that follow.
What happens in the first week
Wrinkle injections work through chemodenervation: the product blocks the chemical signal that tells the treated muscle to contract. That block does not switch on instantly. It establishes itself over several days, which is why the mirror shows nothing on day one, a softening by mid-week for many people, and the settled result within the 2 to 7 day window.
As the muscle eases, the skin above it stops being folded along the same crease, and the line smooths. Movement-driven lines respond most completely; lines that had started settling in at rest soften as the repetition behind them quiets.
The session and the downtime
Plan for 15 to 30 minutes in the studio. Downtime is minimal; most clients return directly to work or their day. Marie will give you any aftercare guidance specific to your treatment at the appointment itself rather than a generic sheet.
Reading your result
Judge the outcome after the full onset window has passed, not at day two. What you are looking for is your expressions intact and the targeted lines quiet, the refreshed-not-frozen standard every treatment here is dosed against. If anything reads unbalanced once the result settles, that is a conversation to have, because dosing and placement are adjustable on the next round.
Common questions
Why is there a delay at all?
The product needs time to establish its block at the nerve-muscle junction. That is a biological process measured in days, and it is the same mechanism for every patient; only the exact day within the 2 to 7 day window varies.
How long will the result last?
Longevity varies with your muscle strength, dosing, and how expressive you are, so honest clinics quote a maintenance rhythm at consultation rather than a universal number. Marie calibrates yours as your results establish.
Does the injection itself hurt?
The needles used are fine and the session is brief. Most people find it very tolerable, and comfort options are part of the consultation conversation if you are needle-averse.
